Government of Sindh

Government of Sindh is one of the provincial governments working under the Chief Minister of Sindh, who is the head of the government, with a Governor, who is the head of the state. There is a full provincial cabinet including a number of advisors. The Provincial Assembly of Sindh is unicameral and consists of 168 seats, of which 5% are reserved for non-Muslims and 17% for women. The provincial capital of Sindh is Karachi.
Apart from the political structure, the government of Sindh has a full-fledged bureaucratic organization headed by the Chief Secretary of the province supported by Secretaries of different departments and authorities. All the secretaries are the Administrative Heads of their departments and report to the Chief Secretary, who is responsible before the Chief Minister of the province.
